Love you fo'eva

Neva told you that

I'll stay with you through thick and thin

I told you that?

I told you not to come by my house half past ten

I told you get up and get the grits cookin'

I told you rise and go down the mall and buy

me something

Love you?

I neva told you dat!

     I know it has been a long very long time since I have posted but I think it is the right time. I have this new series in my head; bubbling, just waiting to come out.  Over the next couple of weeks, days, and some more days.  I will be dropping completed works of poetry. Jimmy Cliff crooned “I can see clearly now the rain has gone. All of the obstacles in my way. This is the rainbow I’ve been waiting for. It’s going to be a bright, bright sun shining day”. 2019 has come and 2019 has gone. For some people reading this, it might have been a tough year. It might have been a rough year. Maybe it was things that were happening in your family, your job, in your business maybe even your relationships that caused you to feel blue. Maybe the year started out blissful but it ended misty. Like Jimmy, I want to remind you it’ll get brighter. Let the old year end let the new year begin in the poem brighter. So I hope You like it. So there goes brighter.
